Ingredients:
1
lb (500g) cooked mutton
2 t. soy sauce
4 T. (60ml) 3 cloves star anise
1/2 t. chopped green onions
1/2 t. minced ginger root
2 t. salt
1/2 sugar
1/4 pepper oil

DIRECTIONS:
- Cut the mutton into thick slices
(5cm*3cm*5mm).
- Heat oil, add star anise, and
deep-fry until fragrant. Remove star anise and then
add green onion and ginger to stir-fry. Put mutton
strips, soy sauce, salt, sugar and add water just
enough to cover the meat.
- Heat the sauce until it boils
and cover with a lid.
- Stew it on a lower heat until the
sauce thickens. Sprinkle with pepper oil. Serve!
