* Tip: Every large town and city in China has at least one nightclub, and often many more, and they are quickly becoming one of the most popular forms of entertainment in China. Drinks tend to be a little more expensive in nightclubs compared with restaurants and you will often be asked to pay a cover or door charge.

Some nightclubs have live bands and some play disco, 80's, house, trip, hip-hop - the list goes on. Some play exclusively western music while others play a mixture of western, canto-pop and mainland disco.
