Suzhou-style Baked Ribbonfish - serves 4
 

Ingredients:

  • (1)
    1 t. ginger wine
    1/2 t. salt
    1/8 t. pepper

  • (2)
    1/2 lemon

  • (3)
    2/3 lb. (300 g.) fish of your choice

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut crisscross slits on both sides of the fish. Dry and rub with (1). Let it stand for 15 minutes. Place directly in baking pan.

  2. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees and bake fish for approximately 15 minutes. Remove from heat and place on a serving dish. Squeeze lemon juice over the fish and serve.

    Lettuce and lemon slices may be used as garnish.
