QUESTION:
Until the early 20th century, China had been ruled for thousands of years by a procession of Emperors. China has seen around 200 emperors rule over the country, some popular and some not so.

Emperors were more than just the head of the state; they played an important role in the cultural and spiritual development of their people and their country.

Who was China's last emperor?

A. Qing;
B. Ciqi;
C. Pu-yi.
D. Huang Di

ANSWERS:
C is correct! Pu-yi was the last of the Chinese emperors, ruling as a child between 1908 and 1912.

Pu-yi was the last of the Qing imperial dynasty emperors to rule China - an almost three-thousand-year history that started with Huang Di circa 2698 BC.
