Chives and Tofu

Ingredients:

(1)
3/4 c. broth
1/4 t. soy sauce
1/2 t. sugar
1/2 t. sesame oil
-
(2)
1 t. cornstarch
1 T. water (mix the above two)

(3) 2/3 lb. (300 g.) bean
curd (3 squares)
(4) 2 stalks of chives
(5) 1-3/4 oz. (50 g.) ground pork
(6) 2 T. vegetable oil

DIRECTIONS:

Cut bean curd into pieces, 3/4''
per square. Slice leek diagonally.

Heat 2 T. oil in preheated wok.
Stir-fry ground pork until it separates. Add white
part of chives and stir-fry until fragrant. Add
bean curd and (1). Bring to a boil, reduce heat,
and simmer for 5 minutes. Add green part of chives,
thicken with (2) and serve.
Chives may be substituted with
leek.
