QUESTION:
During the Japanese occupation of China during WWII which of the following were most often stolen from Chinese villages by another Chinese villages?

a) Guns
b) Dogs
c) Bread
d) Land mines
e) Phone books

ANSWERS:
A) Unfortunately not, but only because there were none to steal.

B) No, but many were eaten in times of famine.

C) Chinese still aren't into bread. Try again.

D) Correct. Long coated, hatted men, known as Land Mine Diggers, would sneak out to other villages to steal land mines. These desperate men were both revered and feared for their courage. As guns and artillery were very scarce, landmines became a primary source of protection for a village. Mine fields were mapped out in the villagers' heads, and if invaded they would take to the fields and hide in the safe areas.

e) Wrong, let your fingers do the walking to a more correct answer.
