SHANGRI-LA DELIVERS ITS LEGENDARY HOSPITALITY
TO INNER MONGOLIA AT A SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY RATE

Shangri-La Hotel, Huhhot, the group's first hotel in China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is offering a special introductory rate to celebrate its recent opening.

Per night rates are RMB688 for a deluxe room including breakfast, excluding 15 per cent tax and service charge. The introductory rate is valid 1 November 2007 to 30 April 2008, based on availability.

Shangri-La Hotel, Huhhot is the city's first international deluxe hotel. The 375-room hotel is ideally located in the city's prime commercial area, only 25 minutes' drive from Baita International Airport and eight minutes from Huhhot Railway Station.

Measuring a minimum 38 square metres, each guestroom offers either tranquil views of Qingcheng Park or views over the city.

Xin Cafe features an "open theatre kitchen" delivering a variety of cuisine from around the world. With its relaxing views over landscaped gardens, the Lobby Lounge offers guests the perfect place to relax over a quiet drink.

Shangri-La Hotel, Huhhot provides the city's largest grand ballroom – with a floor space of 1,620 square metres – which offers the latest modern facilities. It also provides a further 10 well-appointed function rooms to meet demands of conferences and meetings and a fully equipped business centre.

Opening the end of 2007, 63 Horizon Club rooms will offer an enhanced level of service with exclusive amenities and privileges such as private meeting rooms, express check-in and check-out, and the Horizon Club lounge for daily breakfast and cocktails. A health club will feature a 25-metre indoor swimming pool. Shang Palace, opening first quarter 2008, will offer authentic Cantonese dishes, spicy Hunan cuisine and Mongolian specialties.

First established during the Ming Dynasty, Huhhot is both the capital city and the most important cultural and commercial centre of China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Huhhot -- meaning "Green City" in Mongolian - contains dozens of ancient Buddhist temples and towers, well-preserved traditional architecture and landmarks, and the Inner Mongolia Museum whose collections chart the region's history through archeological findings, costumes and artifacts. As a base for visitor exploration of Inner Mongolia, Huhhot is located in a vast region of forests, deserts, mountains and grasslands. Flights between Huhhot and Beijing are less than an hour.
