This exhibition, planned by Mr. Feng Boyi, attempts to show another aspect of contemporary Chinese arts. It is looking for new ways of "Art for Art" escaping from previous simple and parochial set pattern of "Art for Living" by encompassing many different art forms like photography, video, canvas, sculpture and traditional Chinese painting.

Broadway Musical Comedy "42nd Street" Will Arrive In Beijing
42nd Street is a musical with a book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble, lyrics by Al Dubin, and music by Harry Warren. Based on the classic 1933 movie musical of the same name, it is a delightful throwback that the entire family will enjoy. Tickets selling for RMB80-3000.

Total Women
Taiwan playwright and director Stan Lai's new work, "Total Women," the latest of Lai's "Crosstalk" series, will be shown in Beijing. The play begins with Betty and Annie hosting a gala event for a women's products company called Total Women. They wait for an old woman, reportedly a master of crosstalk, a comedic art form that never had female practitioners. However, the old woman doesn't show up and her granddaughter Funny, who has come in her to perform. Tickets selling for RMB100-500.
