Chicken with Rice -

Ingredients:

1 Tbsp ginger wine
3 Tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp minced green onion

1/3 lb. (150g) bamboo shoots
1/3 lb. (150g) carrots
4 tsp chicken fat
2/3
lb. (300g) chicken
1-1/4 lb. (560g) germinated rice
3-3/4 c. water

DIRECTIONS:
- Cut bamboo shoots and carrots
into small cubes. Be careful that you don't hit
your fingers!
- Cut the chicken into thin, bite-sized
pieces, soak in (1) for 20 minutes.
- Soak rice in water for 20 minutes,
add (2) and mix. Boil this mixture at a high-heat
for 5 minutes, add the soaked chicken, the turn
the heat to low for 15 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and cover
the rice for 5 minutes before serving.
