Chinese Beef

Ingredients:

| DIRECTIONS:
- Cut
the beef into chunks (2-3cm each).

Heat oil and then deep fry the beef until brown.
After brown, drain the beef and set aside.

Put peppercorns and star anises in a small cheesecloth
bag and put it in a sucer full of 4 cups of water.

Heat the water, and add soy sauce, sugar, stick
cinnamon, scallions and ginger into it. When boiled,
put beef inside. When boiled again, turn the heat
lower to stew (maybe 30 minutes). Remove from the
heat when beef is very tender.
