Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Concert
Soon after its establishment in 1888, the Concertgebouw Orchestra developed into one of the best orchestras in Europe. The Orchestra was granted Royal status in 1988. It has made more than an 1100 LPs, CDs and DVDs and is regarded worldwide as one of the most prestigious symphony orchestras. Maximilian Hecker China Tour Beijing Concert
Born in Heidenheim, Germany on July 26, 1977, Maximilian Hecker is a German musician known for airy pop music, similar to bands like Air. After performing as a drummer in a number of small German bands, his demo tapes attracted the attention of Kitty-Yo Records, who released his debut album Infinite Love Songs in 2001. Best Of The Edinburge Fringe Festival
Organized by the British Council, Best of the Edinburge Fringe Festival brings new dramas from the UK to light up Beijing's stage. Four avant-grade dramas from 2007 are featured: Hysteria, an awkward dinner date that examines society's notion of sanity; Low Life, a puppet show based on the Charles Bukowski novel Pulp; It Is Like It Ought To Be: Pastoral, which creates an urban plastic utopia; and The End of Everything Ever, about children living through the Holocause.
