Stunned Speechless - Zhang Linhai Solo Exhibition

Chinese Contemporary Art Awards 2008
Founded in 1997 by Uli Siggs, CCAA has awarded Liu Wei this year as its pick for "Best Artist" and Tseng Yu-chin as "Best Young Artist". Ai Weiwei has also given a lifetime achievement award. The works of these three artists will be exhibited at the largest art space in 798.

Won Ju Lim: 24 Seconds Of Silence

Huagu Opera: Missing My Husband
Presented by Jingmen Art Theatre of Hubei Province. Cast: Zeng Ju, Luo Tao, Cai Jianting, Chen Qinfang, Liu Hongying, Song Xianqin, Wang Shuoyan and Li Xinghua. The title of this Huagu Opera Missing My Husband is inspired by a ballad spread far and wide in the flat country of Jianghan. It is adapted by a Jingmen novelist Huang Faqing's novel, Waiting at Rural Home, and is regarded as a performance for female whom the story is mainly obsessed with. Unlike their father's generations, they are working instead of waiting passively, while their husbands are earning a living far from the hometown. Tickets selling for RMB50-280.
