Chinese Contemporary Art Awards 2008
Founded in 1997 by Uli Siggs, CCAA has awarded Liu Wei this year as its pick for "Best Artist" and Tseng Yu-chin as "Best Young Artist". Ai Weiwei has also given a lifetime achievement award. The works of these three artists will be exhibited at the largest art space in 798.

Kylie Minogue Beijing Concert
Kylie Minogue, an Australian pop singer-songwriter and occasional actress who has been nicknamed as pea princess for her charming and petite size, will hold a live concert in Beijing on December 1. Zhang Liangying, also known as Jane Zhang, came to prominence after her third-place performance in the 2005 season of the Super Girl contest, a national all-female singing competition in China.
