Guo
En Temple
Guo En Temple was first built in 683 during the Tang
Gaozong period by the Sixth Patriarch of Chinese Zen
lineage - Huineng to repay his parents, and was first
named as Bao En Temple. In 706 it has changed to the
current name of Guo En Temple. Besides of Huineng's
golden sitting statue with cassock, there are also other
Buddha statues in the three palaces. It has been Guangdong's
