Assistant Technical Works Supervisor(ATWS)
Under the supervision of the Technical Works Supervisor, the ATWS
handles day to day maintenance and special projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Supervise locally employed works staff and engaged contractors
in the satisfactory execution and completion of maintenance work.
-Work within Embassy security guidelines and ensure that local staff
are supervised accordingly.
-Follow through all works requests and keep log books up to date.
- Keep a record and inventory of maintenance stores and all issues
against works requests, recording movement of stores goods on a
monthly basis, including white goods, portable equipment, humidifiers
etc..
-Perform day to day maintenance supervision in the absence of the
Technical Works Supervisor.
-Maintenance of property files.
-Update computer records and maintain general filing.
REQUIREMENTS:
-English Language skills are essential.
- Knowledge of Mandarin would be useful.
- Local driver's license is essential.
-Ability to carry out duties outside of normal working hours when
required.
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel.
- Be prepared to take a hands on approach when required.
-Must be a good manage of people.
-A maintenance background will be a strong asset.
- The ability to work with people in different capacities is essential.
Common sense, a sense of humour and patience will go a long way.
